Around the Park: Candlelight Ghost Stories at the Rising Sun Inn Fun for Skeptics and Believers
The Capital Gazette featured the Rising Sun Inn in "Around the Park: Candlelight Ghost Stories at the Rising Sun Inn for Skeptics and Believers.
Ms. Tegler returned to the Rising Sun Inn to interview storytellers and volunteers as the Rising Sun Inn readied to host their second Candlight Ghost Stories tours event. Ms. Tegler also checked on the progress of the Native Colonial Pollinator Garden installed earlier this year.
Annapolis Discovered and freelance writer Lois Villemaire featured the Rising Sun Inn and the Tea and Tour Program. Ms. Villemaire visited the Rising Sun Inn recently and enjoyed a tour and got to learn about the Tea and Tour program along with other Inn activities as well as a little bit about the Inn's history. Ms. Villemaire also shared with the community upcoming events scheduled at the Inn.

Ms. Tegler returned to the Rising Sun Inn to interview author Elissa Brent Weissman about her book, The Length of a String. While visiting the Inn, Ms. Tegler also interviewed Margaret Perry, Ann Arundel Chapter, NSDAR, member and Conservation Committee chair on the installation of the a Colonial Pollinator Garden onsite at the Inn. Ms. Tegler also shared with the community upcoming events scheduled at the Inn.

The Capital Style Magazine featured the Rising Sun Inn along other historic residences located in Anne Arundel County and open to the public for tours.
Freelance writer, Allison Eatough, featured the Rising Sun Inn in her article which published in the September 30, 3018, edition of the Capital Gazette's Capital Style Magazine. Ms. Eatough introduced readers to our historic Inn; her article also included a plug to the Inn's upcoming Historic Candlelight Ghost Stories Tour.

Around the Park: Christmas Events had Special Twists The Capital Gazette featured the Rising Sun Inn in "Around the Park: Christmas Events had Special Twists" by local columnist, Sharon Lee Tegler.
Ms. Tegler joined local community members and volunteers for a very special afternoon at the Inn celebrating Colonial Christmas in Maryland. The event included historical interpreters, traditional sweets, and children's crafts while colonial music and the 18th century Rising Sun Inn transported visitors to the days of Christmas Past. The Friends of the Rising Sun Inn extend a very special "Thank You" to historical interpreters David, William, and Paul of Colonial Tours of Annapolis who made the afternoon both wonderful and educational.

Around the Park: Spring Family Day Fun at Rising Sun Inn
The Capital Gazette featured the Rising Sun Inn in "Around the Park: Spring Family Day at the Rising Sun Inn" by local columnist, Sharon Lee Tegler. Ms. Tegler joined local community families and community volunteers for an afternoon of spring crafts, face painting, Inn tours, and of course, an Easter Egg Hunt. With clear skies and a light breeze, it was the perfect day for this wonderful outdoor event.
